Having worked with large national and multi-national companies as well as start-up ventures, Malia is skilled at analyzing information to make strategic investment decisions.

Malia's psychology degree provides her with the important ability to understand people, personalities and motivations. She uses this knowledge with her negotiating skills to successfully navigate her clients through the entire process of buying or selling a home.

Malia is proud to be a Specialist in the prestigious Coldwell Banker Global Luxury program, the market leader in luxury home sales both locally and nationally. Luxury Property Specialists must demonstrate the highest level of market knowledge and professionalism in the luxury market arena. Malia earned this designation within six months of being with Coldwell Banker, and has been consistently recognized in the Elite tier of the Coldwell Banker Global Luxury Specialist group on Oahu, based on her success in listing and selling luxury properties on Oahu. Malia has also consistently been in the top 2% to 5% of almost 100,000 Coldwell Banker agents throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico, based upon overall sales volume. Other recognitions include Outstanding New Experienced Associate for Coldwell Banker in 2015, and Best in Real Estate 2016 to 2019 by Honolulu Magazine.

Malia grew up on Oahu and returned home after living abroad and on the mainland for ten years. She is a graduate of Punahou School, Boston College, B.A. magna cum laude, and the University of California, Hastings College of Law, J.D. cum laude, Thurston Honors Society, and Order of the Coif. At Punahou School Malia was an all-state track and field athlete. She had the wonderful experience of living in Paris, Munich, Barcelona and Tokyo working as a professional print and runway model.

Malia supports charitable causes including Women's Fund of Hawaii, JDRF, and the Aloha Medical Mission. Her interests include running, wine and traveling. Malia and her husband James have twin boys and a Boston Terrier.
